SynerG Communications Network Technology
Incumbent carriers like the baby bells and even the next generation Internet core providers have a big problem - legacy services on dated equipment. As these carriers have grown and evolved, they have had to maintain service parity with existing technologies. This has lead to a continual and widening lagging of available service offerings compared to available technology. Couple this with the debt that most carriers have amassed building these networks and the timeframe to rollout new services widens even further. This void is SynerG's market opportunity.
Being a young, nimble, and opportunistic company, SynerG is deploying a core backbone technology that robustly supports a complete voice, video, and data suite of services for both businesses and residential consumers. That technology is Digital Transfer Mode (DTM).
DTM supports the security and quality of ATM networks without the overhead. It has the flexibility and robustness of IP networks without the unreliability of the transport. And it scales to OC-768 (40G) capacity over existing fiber networks. SynerG is the only global networking provider to offer end-to-end DTM services to every point on the network. With the DTM core, SynerG customers can connect with legacy technologies such as ATM. ATM is used as an access technology within the DTM core transport to offer multinational organizations a cost savings from traditional leased lines. Customers have the capability to increase or decrease bandwidth on demand.
In today's information age, transmission is only part of the solution. Intelligence must become integrated into network, fused with the data it is carrying. SynerG is making networking and computing a single function, enabling services never before possible in the legacy world. Interactive commercials, 3D interactive sports broadcast, emersion gaming, and virtual desktops are all part of the SynerG infrastructure.
To accomplish this, SynerG has acquired key technologies from QS Software and DiStream that will enable SynerG to maintain a competitive advantage for years to come.
